Identifying the Best Candidate for Conservative Christians
When I was a boy, the Lone Ranger was one of my heroes. I remember watching him on our old black-and-white TV set and admiring his manliness, his gentle treatment of old and young alike, and his overriding interest in justice.
As a youth I was also taught that America was a "free country," a place where I would be able to fulfill my dreams through hard work with the support of my family and my community. Sadly, the older I have become, the more I have felt robbed of that inspiring dream.
Being a conservative Christian, I have a strong desire to see a national leader who is a genuine hero, one who will stand against the tide of evil in my beloved country.
Now comes a candidate for President of the United States who is once more stirring those old dreams in my heart!
Who is this "Masked Man?"
Like the Lone Ranger of old, I will leave his mask on for the moment and just describe him for your consideration.
This true American has served his country with honor in the U.S. Air Force and for many years in high public office. He is a physician who has been an unswerving advocate of the pro-life viewpoint. While a confessing Christian, he does not wear his religion on his sleeve nor use it as a gratuitous campaign tool. He has been married to the same woman for 50 years and has several devoted children and many grandchildren.
That he cares about the plight of the middle class (and not in word only!) is proven by the fact that he has never voted to raise taxes. He has never voted for an unbalanced budget. He even refuses to take government-paid trips. He has never voted for a pay raise and has in fact regularly returned a portion of his office expense budget to the treasury. He refuses to participate in a lucrative taxpayer-funded pension program.
Have you noticed that the value of the dollar has sunk to a new low? Compared to its value in 1913, the dollar is now worth about four cents! The man of whom I speak intends to restore "honest money," reigning in government spending and ending inflation and discriminatory taxation in the United States.
In fact, his entire voting history (a matter of public record) proves him to be one of the few holders of high office who took his oath to
"support and defend the Constitution of the United States"
seriously. Should conservative Christians not honor the principles handed down to us by the Founding Fathers of our once great country? Should we not seek a leader that upholds the fundamental rule of law, the supreme law of the land, our Constitution?
This "Masked Man" has a clearly enumerated plan for securing our borders and dealing with the massive surge of illegal immigrants. At the same time, he is enthusiastic about maintaining good communications and commerce with foreign nations as the basis of solid and beneficial relationships.
Jesus said "Blessed are the peacemakers." While this "Masked Man" champions a strong, vital home defense of America, he is at the same time seeking to end preemptive foreign wars that have resulted in the futile deaths of far too many of our finest young men and women.
He is the strongest supporter of personal privacy, human rights, dignity, and authentic liberty that I have ever known in the political arena. This "Masked Man" is a candidate for nomination by one of the two "major parties" in the United States, and so no one can use the tired "third-party candidate" argument to claim that a vote for him would be "throwing away my vote."
He has the fastest growing campaign financially and in actual numbers, having doubled receipts in the 3rd quarter over the 2nd - and he is the only candidate in his party to increase campaign revenues in the 3rd quarter.
He regularly has the highest support numbers in presidential debates and straw polls. And like the Lone Ranger of legend, this good man has often stood alone against strong enemies without backing down. He is now riding into town on his white horse, bringing America a message of renewed hope to replace decades of growing despair.
Doesn’t your heart long for this kind of clear moral leadership?
If you still haven't guessed the name of this modern day Lone Ranger, perhaps you should thank the mainstream media. They go out of their way to ignore this "Masked Man". Pundits have been extremely creative in coming up with demeaning adjectives designed to marginalize him, but childish name-calling has not seemed to slow his advance. Have you considered looking elsewhere for your news? Try searching on "Google" for some of the traits that I have described for you -- for example, combine "presidential candidate" and "constitution."
If you have figured out of whom I speak, can you give one good (i.e. biblical) reason why you are not strongly supporting and working for his nomination as candidate for President of the United States? He is without a doubt the man of the highest integrity to run for this office (on a "major ticket") in our lifetime.

No, I won’t mention the name of this "Masked Man" - nor his political party affiliation - thereby keeping this essay "politically correct." It may even be safe for publication and distribution on your church website and your 501(c)3 corporate mailing lists! :) (your mileage may vary; get legal counsel!)
But, please! Do your own homework! Learn his identity! And then throw your strongest support behind this unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to choose and elect a genuinely righteous President!
